A photogram of my button collection. Photograms are black and white darkroom prints, so the original prints are in black and white. The process of adding colors transforms the final outcome, enhancing its vibrancy and appeal. This section offers a closer look at a specific detail captured in a larger photogram. For many years, I have passionately experimented with this fascinating darkroom technique that does not require a camera. The results are unique prints that capture multiple impressions of an object’s shadow. You can view the full image in my Photogram collection or in my book, “Photograms of a Lifetime.”
