Crystal Shadow

This section offers a closer look at a specific detail captured in a larger photogram. We explore the intricate details of a crystal shadow printed on traditional Ilford darkroom paper. For many years, I have passionately experimented with this fascinating darkroom technique that does not require a camera. The results are unique prints that capture multiple impressions of an object’s shadow. You can view the full image in my Photogram collection or in my book, “Photograms of a Lifetime.”
